The Vine needs to pay its way somehow. We've found sponsored ads to be an effective way of helping to cover our costs. We believe that most of the ads are useful to our readers.
We are careful to prevent inappropriate Google ads from being served on The Vine. Please contact us with the web site address of the offending ad as it appears in the ad so we can review, and if necessary, block it from appearing again.
We will never use our mailing list as a public announcement system for all and sundry. If you want to advertise a legitimate business we offer a channel through Google Ads - please see our responses to our advertising questions.
