Encouragement

The STRONG Ones

Many people are amazed on how these “strong” people can do it. For me, one thing that I really learned is that everything just really depends on how we see things, really. Admittedly, I’ve wanted to peek what the future lies so I would be able to appreciate every detail of pain and get at least a little concrete assurance of the trail I’m travelling but then again, where would “faith” comes in?

TREASURE TIPS.

Live longer by socializing more. This was one of the results of recent university studies which found that “people with strong social networks live longer than those without. Among their conclusions was that social isolation is as much a risk factor for mortality as more frequently cited scourges like smoking and obesity.”

Pure Love

God's love is unconditional, pure and trustworthy.
Man may fail u but Jesus will never. He does not go back on his word.
The bible teaches us to abide in Him, to trust him completely.
Lay your burdens at his feet, his compassion will overwhelm you with comfort.
He is Jehovah Shiloh, Prince of peace.
When you feel weak, take His hands in yours and let Him lead you.
Pray without ceasing and never give up hope.
God Bless!

Keep running

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. - Hebrews 12:1.
No one is too old to serve God. We must keep growing, maturing, and serving to the end of our days. To idle away our last years is to rob the church of the precious gifts God has given us to share. There is service to be rendered. There is still much to be done. So let's keep running "with endurance". Let's finish the course and finish strong...

Brief as a Flower

As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. - Psalm 103:15-16
We have only one life to live so we must spend it carefully. Because our days on earth are few, we should make the most of our "flowering time". The nectar of God's love in our heart should attract people to the Savior. Our life should be colorful with spiritual service, remembering that we are allowed to bloom for the express purpose of leading others to Christ...

In His Presence

Matthew 25:31-33 (New Living Translation)

The Final Judgment

31 “But when the Son of Man[a] comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. 32 All the nations[b] will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

from God's vision to your destiny: igniting your faith

if you're willing to step out in faith, why not continue to walk in it as well? what changes after that first step that takes from "i will!" to "i don't think i can"? it's our lack of planning. we know what we want, but we haven't mapped out a plan to get there. we have a vision, but we are too shortsighted to realize that that simply is not enough. in Habakkuk 2:2-3 we read, "And the Lord answered me, 'Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Is Your Mule In The Well?

A parable is told of a farmer who owned an old mule. The mule fell into the farmer's well. The farmer heard the mule 'braying' - or - whatever mules do when they fall into wells. After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the mule, but decided that neither the mule nor the well was worth the trouble of saving. Instead, he called his neighbors together and told them what had happened... and enlisted them to help haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well and put him out of his misery.

You Are Worth It

"The Lord gave me a message. He said, "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world." "O Sovereign Lord," I said, "I can't speak for you! I'm too young!" "Don't say that," the Lord replied, "for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!" Jeremiah 1:4-8

I was chosen by God. God is with me. God takes care of me.

Seven Laws of the Race

The motif of the Olympic race was dear to the Apostle Paul. Did he sit in the stands in Athens or Corinth? Perhaps so. Regardless, parallels between "the games" and the believer's race in life were often on his mind. He (along with the author of Hebrews) gives us seven laws for running the race.

1. Run to win
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NASB)

2. Observe strict discipline
